I can't see whether it's CGI or not. But some of the cameramovements feel a little too perfect. Either way it is a hell of a lot of work. Unbelievable commercial.

It is definitely not CGI rendered, not even a bit of camera trick involved. According to various news reports, this whole commercial took 606 takes to complete. Apparently if something goes off-course by even 1/16 of an inch, the chain reaction will not have the desired effect. It is a work of art, by people with passion, not by those striving for profit.

I used to be able to do that with slinkys, dominos, and a sleeping cat, properly positioned.

except it had nothing to do with cars.
