A boom-format Plutonia (YOU NEED TO RUN IT WITH PLUTONIA.WAD) megawad of 37 maps meant to be played in singleplayer or coop and it has DM spawns in a few maps (independent sections only for DM).DOWNLOAD HERE: Plutonium 1.6 Spoiler All maps being tested with: DSDA, Woof, Cherry Doom, Zandronum and ZDaemon. Coop tested with: Zandronum and Odamex. ZDaemon works but poorly (MAP16 and MAP31 won’t open). I know the support ZDaemon mods and people gave to us in other wads like Anathema 2 or HCP in order to work fine into it. So if someone wants to make a version that works in that port, you’re welcome. -No jumping/crouching allowed -Freelook is optional but we didn’t tested it in that way -Includes new features as: New weapons, sprites, decorate and some enemies. -New music: MAP07 and MAP30 composed by me. -Not meant to be played with mods that change the gameplay drastically but YOU ARE FREE TO DO IT so we can know how it works! Spoiler Original name was “Plutonia 11” and it was meant to be another plutonia jokewad that took inspiration of Plutonia 7 but ended up being a decent wad that mixes variety of quality in mapping (experienced and new mappers in the Project) with some humour BUT IT IS NOT A JOKEWAD. You can call this a “WEIRDWAD” as all maps can be finished and there won’t be any missing texture or anything that kills the experience in a bad way but still preserving the most unorthodox design in the most part of the wad (as an experimental way). At the end, you must play the wad to to capture the essence. Sometimes the wad flirts with Plutonia, sometimes with TNT in inspiration and other times with none of those. This is varied. If you like ancient temples or jungle maps with more “Standard” design the first half of the wad is perfect for you. If you like more “alien”, “space” and experimental stuff then the last half part is for you. This is my first lead project and i am really proud of the result because it has variety for all tastes: -- New mappers -- Atmosphere and abstract environments -- Unexpected funny elements -- Creativity in design and more experimental stuff -- More “classic” style design. -- New weapons, decorate and enemies. Spoiler Protagonist name is “Mokele” a tanzanian guy who is a explorer and archaeologist that wants to climb the top of the Kilimanjaro (highest mountain on Africa) and once begins his journey a lot of challenges arise: hallucination, fight with some cult, etc. Once he climbs the top he has a weird encounter with a civilization of other world (MAP15) and the other half of the game happens in weird dimensions and other planets. If you want to divide the events, here’s a guide:First episode: MAP01 - MAP06 (Including supersecret map33): Ancient temples and steppes.Second episode: MAP07 - MAP11: Wet forests and climbing Kilimanjaro in the last two maps.Third episode: MAP12 - MAP15 (it has secret exit): Kilimanjaro topHallucination Event: MAP16Fourth episode: MAP17 - MAP20: After abduction. Space events in spaceships and stuffLast Episode: MAP21 - MAP30: Depths of Pluto (the alien hell).Secret episode: MAP31 and 32: Alternative dimensionsSupersecret episode: ??? Mapinfo lumps should be differentiated between ports and each MAPINFO for each port has its own syntax, GZDoom uses ZMAPINFO lump, Eternity uses EMAPINFO, while most ports like DSDA or PrBoom use UMAPINFO. Issue may be related to this fact. For example, Eviternity II has the three MAPINFO lumps inside the wadfile. MAPINFO gives information about secret exits and next secret levels, apart from MAP15/31 secret exit, which is hardcoded for Doom II. 1 Share this post Link to post

NuMetalManiak Posted September 28 (edited) And I'm on GZDoom, which tends to work well with all the MAPINFO stuff described earlier (other than EMAPINFO) and it surprised me for a second that it wasn't taking me to the intended secret level. A few more things btw: MAP07: Linedef 1824 is an S1 Door Open Stay with tag 11, no sector is tagged. MAP31: Linedef 11458 is SR teleport with tag 393, no sector is tagged MAP32: Two closets (sectors 337 and 339) do not have triggers to open, meaning I miss two arachnotrons. MAP27: Sector 922 is an unreachable secret sector. MAP37: same as MAP07, this level btw is identical to MAP07 but seems to be more like what the actual level should have been since MAP07 only had one monster and this one has several. Also beating it takes me to MAP16 and MAP16 after beating it just ends the game. MAPs 17-20 cannot be accessed from episode selection.
