Xbox and Doom3???

I was wondering if anyone had heard if Doom3 was going to be realeased for Xbox. I initially heard it was and that was the main reason that I bought the system.
Does anyone know for fact what they have planned for the game???
Or am I going to have to buy a $2000 computer just so I can play it.

It does seem to be coming for X-Box as well as for PC.

$2000 is wrong though, you can get a fully featured DOOM 3-ready computer for about $800-900.

I won't need a new pc at the moment but in the near future (about a year from now) i'll probably need a laptop. Can a laptop handle doom3 as well as a pc O_o (i'll know it'll cost a fortune though).

Im only running a P3 650 with 256 ram and ATI 7200 its startin to get pretty sluggish.
Im hopeing though that Doom 3 has good controls for Xbox thats what I hate about Xbox the controls are fucking gay and sometimes in Xbox FPs hell you dont even aim u just push a button and it aims for u?? wtf is up with that for fuckin invelids or somthin.

Yes, Doom3 will also be going to X-Box. If you go to Activision website they have an article on it.

I agree with what youre saying about the Xbox controller I think it was made for one thing in mind and that was FPSs. However the controls are superb for that, Halo being a prime example.
Where can I see the Xbox Doom3 trailer????
