Just wondering if anyone here likes them, or has at least heard of them. They're pretty cool, have some cool sounds. But, are they still around?

Heard of them, yes - a friend from university was very keen on them. I probably must have heard some of their stuff, but don't remember much about it.

I have their Legend movie soundtrack, which I find quite enjoyable. I don't have anything else. I hear their normal music is just standard radio hits anyway.

Their Legend soundtrack sounds fine on its own, but IMO it is HORRIBLE for a movie score. I prefer the European soundtrack much more. The Risky Business score, on the other hand, is supreme.

I only have two albums; Turn of the Tides and I think it;s called Private Collection. The latter I burned a copy off of a friend, so I'm not quites sure what the name is. :P

tangerine dream also did the theme music to mid 80's action series "streethawk" - the song was "L.A.-Streethawk" from the "Le Parc" album. The rest of their stuff ain't to bad if you like ambiance.
