Russell_P Posted June 22, 2003 I posted an image of this door in these forums a while back.. It's going to be a long time before my wad using this door is finished. So I've decided to upload this demo and make it and/or it's textures freely available to anyone who wants to use them. The door is an odd shape (for doom), so feel free to mess around with as much as you want. I think I've included all the relevant info in the text file and in the comments in the script. You might have to wait a week or so though, I'm currently finishing up a level for release (next weeks /newstuff hopefully :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Enjay Posted June 22, 2003 2019 - doesn't that place you around the time of "Blade Runner"? Nice door. For people planning on using it, you should be aware that if an item such as an enemy gets stuck on the door as it closes, the door "splits". ie, the sector(s) the monster is standing on cannot close fully, but the rest of the door does. Not a big deal, but it does spoil the image of a solid door. Once you kill the enemy, the door will close properly and work fine from that point on. Edit: Maybe I should have read the text first. Russell mentions the above problem in the text file. :-| 0 Share this post Link to post
Ultraviolet Posted June 23, 2003 Place a line that blocks monsters near it. (Don't block the door itself, that's too close.) 0 Share this post Link to post
