fraggle Posted June 27, 2003 DOS can only read FAT filesystems. If you're using XP your hard disk is probably an NTFS filesystem. Unless you reinstall XP and use FAT instead, you're probably screwed. 0 Share this post Link to post
Amaster Posted June 27, 2003 I've heard of some software that can make DOS read NTFS (specifically made for boot disks). I dont remember what it's called though. But there's a least some hope. GO SEARCH! :P 0 Share this post Link to post
Bloodshedder Posted June 27, 2003 It's called (gasp) ntfsdos. The free version only supports reading from NTFS partitions, meaning you can't write any data to them. 0 Share this post Link to post
JavaGuy4230 Posted June 27, 2003 Actually, I have the Boot disk that reads NTFS. I forget where I got it, but I can send you the setup file if you give me your AIM handle or email address 0 Share this post Link to post
