I think the big source of controversy here is that people set age limits like 18 and 21 for things, while, as kids end up getting forced into adult situations and into adult roles early, we're maturing faster, and these limits on us are stifling us just because we're under 18 or 21.

I'm thinking all this 18 and 21 crap came about during the Depression when the government wanted to keep kids out of the work force so their fathers could find work. Kids then had a longer childhood imposed on them, and the working-kids of that generation were certainly frustrated, but for future generations it came to be a normal thing. Now with us driving cars, having sex, and being pressured to decide on career paths and worry about academic achievement, I think we are maturing quickly enough that we believe we deserve to have these age limits lowered for us.

Anyway, I do agree to banning the sale of M rated games to minors (even though I am a minor myself). Why?
