I want to download the 8Pack wad but the mirrors on this page are all broken.

Is there an alternative mirror in which I can download from?

Just download RW.wad, it is 8 pack plus 12 new levels, and I think the newer ones are even better than the first 8.

Actually, which are the 12 new ones? I never got to download 8pack before it was replaced, but from the screenshots it is clear that Map20 of RW.wad was in 8pack, for instance.

1. Good WADs that have a heavy outdoor element, either

a)Taking place entirely outdoors
b)In the countryside with houses
c)In a mansion with atriums and gardens and courtyards and such

2. Good Urban/Suburban/City WADs

And there was one more I forget at the moment. I realize some of these are kinda specific, but I've always wanted to play Doom in these enviroments.

I'd certainly be interested to see it. If it is just the eight best maps from RW it might be nice for a movie run. But mostly I'm just curious.

Glad you liked that map 10 demo. There will be several more demos from me on this wad in the next update. Maybe even a full pack of UV -fast demos, who knows?
