[Here] is step by step info on how to install and setup a new multiplayer game using Doom Connector. And that goes for all engines (ports), not only Doom Legacy. Gherkin Posted July 19, 2003 Theres no URL for servers AFAIK, you need a browser which shows them to you and at least shows the address or launches you game to it directly. Doom Connector does this, but is indeed a windows application. I dont know of any linux launchers. Almost every engine has a linux port too, just no launchers. 0 Share this post Link to post

Do you happen to know some linux coders that are willing to put some effort in this subject? I'd love to work with someone that can code a linux Doom Connector client (starting with a stripped-down version that can do only the required basics like create account, login, chat, browse/create/join rooms and launch/join games). 0 Share this post Link to post
