Fredrik Posted July 19, 2003 The original is sufficiently self-parodic already. 0 Share this post Link to post
DooMBoy Posted July 19, 2003 Heh, St. Anger is just your average rock song to me. Nothing special, just....average. 0 Share this post Link to post
fraggle Posted July 19, 2003 Heh, I saw the video for the new Metallica song on TV yesterday. Damn, that was bad. And I mean even worse than most Metallica. Ugh. 0 Share this post Link to post
alexz721 Posted July 20, 2003 I find the lyrics of the song to be terrible and the song itself is extremely repetitive and boring. 0 Share this post Link to post

Coopersville Posted July 20, 2003 Heh, I saw the video for the new Metallica song on TV yesterday. Damn, that was bad. And I mean even worse than most Metallica. Ugh.You mean the video that edits and cuts out two minutes of the original song? Yeah, it's lame. So was this parody. 0 Share this post Link to post

BackFromTheDead Posted July 20, 2003 spank said:And the new Sepultura... ugh. You mean "Nation" or there is a new CD that is still not in Russia? "Nation" is pretty good, by the way. 0 Share this post Link to post

I think he means the new one after Nation, although, from what I've heard of it it sounds pretty much the same as Nation... 0 Share this post Link to post
mmnpsrsoskl Posted July 20, 2003 That audio file was the most gorked piece of shit made. Yay. Fuckheads. 0 Share this post Link to post
spank Posted July 20, 2003 It's called Roorback (whatever that means). It's like two weeks old. They also released a covers album called Revolusongs in Brazil. I think Sepultura without Max Cavalera lose most of their appeal. 0 Share this post Link to post

Also, on a local radio a "Roots Bloody Roots" cover is played very often. The fun is that the song features Pavarotti(the opera singer or something)!!! Sloppy :) I heard a rumor that it is counterfeit, and made by fans rather that Sepultura. 0 Share this post Link to post

Disorder Posted July 20, 2003 Heh, I liked it. But what I wrote might be seen as sarcasm, but it isn't. 0 Share this post Link to post
NiGHTMARE Posted July 20, 2003 The new Metallica song sounds like they're trying to be System of a Down... and failing badly. 0 Share this post Link to post

Lost Soul Posted July 22, 2003 I haven't laughed so hard since the last Metallica parody I heard. :) It was called Fuck Metallica or something.. 0 Share this post Link to post
auxois Posted July 22, 2003 Don't get me wrong. I love Metallica, and I especially like St. Anger. I think it's a great new direction for them. However... The very first thing I said when I first heard Frantic (the first song I ever heard from the new CD, without knowing it was Metallica) was "Is this System of a Down?" It really does have a similar sound. [edit]...alright, that WAS pretty funny. [/edit] 0 Share this post Link to post
Lost Soul Posted July 22, 2003 For all of those metallica fans and those who aren't, who missed this the first time ;) http://www.campchaos.com/cartoons/napsterbad/metallicops_56k.html 0 Share this post Link to post
BackFromTheDead Posted July 26, 2003 BTW, I listened "Roorback" in a store a day ago, and, surprisingly, it turned to be not so bad. :) I seriously consider buying it. 0 Share this post Link to post
