Masters of Doom

Its superb. It goes over everything, from when the Two Johns met to when they split, its a great read.

I've read it. It's a good book as far as content goes. The style is interesting too, the author writes most of the book as if he was there. I finished it in a few days, it's easy to read.

I heard of the book at gamespy I think, and I'm about 5/6 through it now. I really love the game and wanted to know more. I've enjoyed it quite a lot. Most of the descriptions of carmack make me smile.

despite the number of books in this 5 floored library, I doubt they would have this book.. unless the university wanted a doom book.

Picked this one up last week finally..about 50 more pages to go.

So far it's been an excellent read. It's really well written IMO...but I wonder how much of it the iD guys actually approved of that wasn't exagerrated drama.

Yeah, it's a great book. It's actually a fun and interesting read, outside of our doom fanaticism.

Any major book retailer should be able to get a copy for you, if they dont already have them in stock. Or you can always order online.
