Infighting Question

Recommended Posts

How is in-fighting determined? Is it in the thing (i.e. Barons of Hell cannot hurt Barons of Hell and Hell Knights), by what projectile is used (i.e. monsters that use the same projectile can't hurt each other), or some other way? Will monsters made from things that used to be decorations fight amognst monsters of their own kind?

There are 2 rules:

1. A projectile cannot hurt a monster of the same type that fired it. This definition extends to all monsters created from non-monster objects.
2. Projectiles of Barons and Hell Knights cannot hurt the other species. This is explicitly checked so if you change one of the into something different they still cannot hurt each other.

Melee and bullet attacks always hurt the attacked monster so all monsters that have one of those can hurt other monsters of the same species.
