Dmapedit replacement?

I'm curious if anyone has used a level editor that is similar in style to Dmapedit, yet runs in windows without me having to boot to DOS. I'm thinking of jumping back into the level foray for one last time before completely abandoning it forever. The only way I'm willing to however, is if I can make levels in windows.

So basically I'm looking for something that can consturct levels by vertecies and lines, and fill them with sectors... erm something like that.

I liked DMapEdit. There's purportedly a Windows version in the works. I e-mailed the creator, seeing as he hasn't updated the site in about 3 years, to ask about the progress... http://babtech.com/dmapedit.html
