What makes a TUD-style map?

Ok, this (unlike the previous few) is a serious one, as I've always wondered what people remember my maps for. So - what distinctive features do my maps have? (as most of the maps I make do have something in common)

I haven't played many of your maps but as I recall the ones I did play were large and maze-ish, with a kind of nostalgic tone.

TUD maps have cool new shotgun and chaingun sounds. Yay, the chaingun actually sounds satisfying now, and not like a pop-gun!
