jDoom - multiplayer problem (please help in exchange for free beer)

Recommended Posts

I know I'm not supposed to post this here, but since I'm in a hurry I decided to go ahead with this in General anyway. Me and one of my buddies from school tried to do a little coop in jDoom. However, when one of us sets up a host, no matter who, connecting doesn't seem to work. The connection gets terminated (maybe by the serverside, I don't know). Is this a config problem? What do we do wrong?

I want free speech, not free beer.

Whatever you want. Just help me out. And like I said, I posted it in General on purpose. It takes way too lang for people to respond in Multiplayer.

Try deleting the client id files on both machines. That's normally the first thing to try.

But without giving any details of your setup etc, I can't really help.

Is there a file somewhere which includes my config? If so, please tell me how to find it, then I'll post it here.
