Holy crap. I was expecting music, so I got quite a scare. Sounds like a futuristic war. This type of 'ambient' would fit well in a Doom 3 expansion about the war on Earth after the whole UAC on Mars thing.

Egads! It was givin me flashbacks for a second there! I'd give it first place, but it's not varied enough. You could add stuff like ricochet sounds, or breif pauses between some of the bursts of gunfire, maybe even the sounds of mortar rounds whistling as they fall. Hell, some soldier chatter would be pretty cool! It's good enough to make it's way into a MoH:AA level as it is, though.
