DooMBoy Posted November 7, 2003 - My two front teeth - GameCube - Metroid Prime And really, that's all I want. I know without doubt I'll get new clothes and shoes, I do every year. A GC and Prime are really what I'm wishing for though. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fredrik Posted November 7, 2003 I don't like Christmas gifts. I always feel guilty for exploiting the generosity of others and inadequate for not being able to give away gifts that are good enough. 0 Share this post Link to post

zark Posted November 7, 2003 Meh, I really don't know what I want for Christmas... I guess my main wish would be to be totally over Christine :P hope that works out. And yeah I feel really bad if I get a lot of stuff and then hardly give out any stuff in return. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tobester Posted November 7, 2003 Last year I gave me a new computer. This year I plan on giving me a new guitar. Maybe. 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted November 7, 2003 I prefer giving. Heh, this reminds me of a story (apparently true) that I heard once. A number of politicians, dignitaries and ambassadors had given short interviews, each answering the same set of questions. The answers were broadcast so that viewers would hear all the answers to a particular question together. The final question was "What would you like for Christmas?" Most of them gave answers like "world peace", "an end to hunger/disease", etc. The hero of this story answered "I'd really like a box of jellied fruits". 0 Share this post Link to post

Ultraviolet Posted November 7, 2003 A good second job that pays well enough for me to get my own car (nothing fancy) and possibly get out of this house. It's not that I don't appreciate being able to live here for free and so on, but the whole family-constantly-bitching thing really gets to me. I'd like some autonomity... autonomous...ness... you know, the freedom to stay the hell in bed on a Sunday morning, to not have to wash other people's dishes and get bitched at for not doing so sometimes, to clean up after myself only, and to freely pursue the things I consider important rather than be held down by other people's expectations and expenses. That and enough money to get cable service and something second-to-top-of-the-line for a computer. Hell, I'd probably settle for that alone. High-end gaming/entertainment/communication system = appeasement. I don't expect somebody to give it to me, I wanna be able to make the money to do it myself. 0 Share this post Link to post

pritch Posted November 7, 2003 I dunno. I just bought myself this and I think that pretty much counts as my xmas present to myself heh. I'm selling my racing bike for more than I paid for the above, and with that bit of extra cash I should be able to get my freinds and family some nice things, which actually does make me feel nice. I'm surprisingly actually quite good at choosing presents, and I enjoy it. I just can't wrap stuff at all. I may ask my parents for another 512 ram for xmas. I don't really need it but it would be convenient to get it off them then and there rather than fork out myself later. That's only if they ask me what I'd like though. My dad's been really good about paying for little fixes for my car (over £100 worth) so I'm not going to be at all demanding. 0 Share this post Link to post

You really have to be pre-emptive about those kinds of things. Sometimes seeing that someone is interested is all someone needs to be interested back. 0 Share this post Link to post
