Doom 3 nearly done maybe?

Is it just me, or is anyone else getting the impression Doom 3 must be on the brink of completion... this new stuff like box art, website preview launch etc... i think either ID like annoying the hell out of us or its suttle hints of game coming very soon. (Lectrix crosses fingers for 10th anniversary date - but he knows its too good to be true.)

I was thinking in the back of my mind that they could at least release an mp/sp/whatever demo on the bday, but sadly I highly doubt it :-/

Actually knowing ids past issues of releasing multiplayer test and stuff its highly likely that a doom3 demo will be available. its not like many havent played the alpha leak anyway which was fun as hell in my opinion aside from the poor performance of it.
