I'm sure most of you have one of these lying around somewhere, and I was just curious. How fast can you solve one of these? It takes me around two minutes.

I remember playing around with Rubik's Cubes a loooong time ago when I was 9 or 10 years old. I never could figure those things out. Oh well.

I had one when I was younger, I thought it was more fun picking it apart and using it for other purposes than actually trying to solve it though.

Nah, turn the top through 45 degrees, then twist one of the corners and the whole thing comes apart. Then just reassemble it. :-)

My quickest time would be around 10 minutes but that was about 24 years ago when I used to try and do it quickly. I found my cube recently and got totally lost shortly after mixing it up. Cheating is the only option now. :-/

I don't have a Rubik's Cube and have rarely had the chance to get my hands on one. Though I am sure they are fun like a barrel full of orangatangs. :D

I never understood why so many people preferred to peel off the labels, when taking the cube apart is easier, quicker and the effects less obvious.

EDIT: ARGH this is difficult getting the pieces back in.

I don't play with Rubik's Cubes, I'm way too stupid. Besides, it doesn't even have Gameshark codes. That's like, soooooooooooooo not cool :P
