SNES music

Does anybody know who remixed Doom music for the SNES?....coz DAMN.....

I don't know who remixed it, but I CAN say that it's the most faithful to PC among the console versions, as far as music goes.

I suppose Jaguar or PSX versions are more faithful in some other regards.

Rats, I can't find my friggin SNES Doom manual, otherwise I'd try to look that up in the credits page.

Jaguar Doom only has 2 tracks in the cart, and no music during gameplay.
PSX Doom has excellent mood music (IMHO :), but it's nothing like the PC music.

What? The Jaguar version of Doom only has 2 tracks of music?!?

I agree about the music in the PSX version of Doom, great and original, so was the music on the first 13 levels of the PSX version of Final Doom.

Well, sort of. As I recall (it's been years), only a few of the tracks are accessible via something like a CD player. You have to get the rest another way.

Oops, yes, I misread; sorry.
Heh, actually the SNES levels are the best major-console copies (layout wise) of the original PC Doom 1 maps. Too bad it wasn't a better game in other ways...
