Thy Cave of Darkness

Im working on a Map seperate from Tale oF Doom.

Its called Thy Cave Of Darkness.

Theme:
1.Wooden and Ashwall Textures.
2.Elevator Lifts like you see in Mines.
3.Doors with Storage.
4.New Textures.
5.Outdoor Jumps(Aprox a -1000 drop)
6.Sewage Dropping(Jump out a Cave and drop into another one)
7.Underground Passage's
8.Shootable Walls that will open to give you a secret surprise.
9.Pits as you see in mines.
10.Wooden Bridges in 16-48 width.
11.No Source port required.
12.Expect it to be hard on Uv.
13.Take the Design to be awesome.
14.And Experience A Kick Ass MAp that was gonna be done b4 December 10th.

Maybe in a hour or so ill post some Screenshots for ya guys.

This map will be classifed as large-Xtra large.

Have any ideas you would want to see in the map? let me know.

Yeah, but he shouldn't announce them then. If everybody announced each level they started, the database server would explode.

Yeah, I gotta suggestion. Please take your time on this, don't just draw a bunch of random sectors and say you're done, that's not gonna work.

Ok,Fine its not a One day map.Ignore that.

I stately put it i was gonna work on it BEFORE Decemember 10th but ended up not being able to.Trust me theirs alot more things to this then just Sectors being draw and me calling it a map.
This will not be like tod Beta level 1.

Ill keep you guys posted.

I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO FINISH MY ONE ROOM MAP ON TIME PLEASE NOT IT WILL NOT JUST BE RANDOM LINES IT WILL BE A SQUARE SO FUK U... ALSO IT IS COMING ALONG NICELY BUT I HAVE DECIDED TO CANCEL IT

I didnt even know Caverns of Darkness was a Name for a map.

Aight fine Name Change:The Mine of Darkness.
Status:Restarting Map,Didnt like the Setup.

You should try coming up with something unique.
Do you have any idea how many wads out there are called "The Tower", "The Castle", "The Sewers", "The Cave" and stuff like that?

Go read a dictionary. Seriously.
You'll find some of the coolest names that actually have a meaning behind them.

Even better, a thesaurus.

For example, (and these are off the top of my head rather than an actual thesaurus) instead of cave/cavern you could have grotto, hole, pothole, etc.

For mine, there's pit, quarry, reserve, shaft, burrow and tunnel.

Ive So Far got the concept of the map underway where its pretty dark and u got hanging lights on the cieling blinking to give light out in a square format inside the sector along with the Wooden supports to the sides of the walls,Then having hanging Wood1 Textures hanging from those Wooden supports to give in the Mine effect.

About 10 sectors having Angles until you go into a 45 degree turn.

All im saying is this map i hope will be ranked Top 100 wads of 2004.

Look man, it's nice to think well of your work and not hate everything you do, but the top 100 wads of 2004? Please. Egos like this make people like you less. Others will be the judge of such things, not you.
