MIDI converting

How can I convert a MIDI File into a .mus file so that i can get it to work with the original Doom Source. I have Wintex, and i heard it will convert the files but I cant figure out how.

If WinTex does it, it doesn't do it directly; it calls mus2midi.exe to do it. WinTex has a config file (wintex.ini, or something) where you set the locations of all the subservient applications it calls to do specific tasks.
