Quasar Posted December 17, 2003 What you're talking about is called the IWAD. The IWAD has to contain all the original resources for the game. In short, it is possible to create an IWAD. However, generally no one does because you'd have to replace every resource in DOOM. This is what freedoom is doing. Note that you can't copy stuff out of doom.wad or doom2.wad to make your IWAD complete. That's a violation of copyright. The IWAD is still fully protected. 0 Share this post Link to post
