was there a CD version of Hacx?

Recommended Posts

I've heard tha Hacx was released on a CD when it was being sold. If it was, the CD would probably be very rare.

But if anyone has a picture of the CD, could they post it here? Thanks.

I just found the Hacx official site, and it seemed that there used to be a CD version. I didn't think that there was a "pay per download" technology at that time.

What else would it have been released on?

Wow, have people really forgotten about the existence of floppy disks already?

There was indeed a CD version, because Linguica bought and sent me one. Still have it, of course.

What the fuck? I bought HACX?

I think I must have gotten free copies or something because I would have NEVER bought it.

The only game I've ever had that came on a floppy was Duke Nukem II and I was expecting a CD in the case...soooooo...yeah, that shows how many people remember :-P

You know, the last game I got on floppies was - DOOM! Yes, for the last ten years I haven't seen any original software on a floppy. Considering that many here didn't know how to use a computer back then I don't find it surprising.

Before I had an internet connection at home I once downloaded Crusader No Regret from HOTU and carried it home on 25 floppies.

Ah, memories.

Don't remember where I downloaded HACX from.
