1)the mancubus miniature painted by my freind moogoo

2)a better shot of the fat zombie head, I havent touched him since I last posted a shot of him

3)a 2 1/2 inch mancubus bust, I did for a freind. this ones a quickie

4)Doomguy mug. Get your entries in before the end of January 2004.

5) a quick sketch sculpt of the future doom box cover statue.

6) a painted and customized cacodemon miniature. done by MOOGOO. Originally it came with a base that looked like it was craping out some people. but as a miniature enthusiast he decided to use a GW large flying base.

The figure looks crappy (but it looked crappy without the paint so it's not the paint's fault), but all the busts and stuff look neat enough so...

How many barrons should I have on the box cover statue? and in case I leave it unpainted, should I sculpt it with red or grey clay?

Holy shit dude.

As a fellow artist (My girlfriend says I am anyway) I highly applaude those sculptures, and I need to know, what did you use for sculpting them?? The clay I mean, is it sculpting putty or something?

If on some off chance I won your contest (I know I JUST got to these forums) it would be a FUCKING HONOUR to put that bust in my room. I would worship it daily. Why? Because Doom Guy is my father who left me. At least thats what my dad says.

Fetus F your post count doen't determine your chances of winning, it's the art that does. I used bulk white sculpey to sculpt my peices exept doomguy, he's supersculpey. After working with both I must say the regular stuff sucks. As for tools I have some metal ones I bought for a few bucks at active surplus, loop tools and rubber tipped tools called 'colour shapers' are my favorite and the prefered tools of most sculptors. here is a good tutorial on sculpting with polymer clay.

a small update to my sculpts

The barron of hell started cracking everywhere do to a weak structure

the doomguy mugshot is going to take a little longer as I ripped off his face, and he's being prepared for a body, and diarama.

I've begun working on the fat zombie again, so that I can finish it SOON.
