video games in real life

if you could bring video game effects and events into life, what would you do?

Most likely I would:

1) make doom style falling, (fall as far as you want and not get hurt!)

2) like diablo, just find cool stuff lying on the ground...

3) actually have a health meter

4) When running around crosshairs are always in front of you, so when you throw or shoot something, you always hit where the crosshairs are

5 cheat codes to say aloud that actually work i.e. idkfa idspispopd etc.

6) run/jump without getting tired

7) pause whenever i want....

8) punch/ kick walls, people, etc. without breaking any bones

9) my personal favorite:: enable flying and godmode when i say DNCORNHOLIO

Savegames. If I ever make a mistake in life, I'd just go back to an old saved game and start over (yet retaining everything I've learned so far).

Not if you disable gravity/enable flying quickly.

You do need to be careful about using it again while you're floating around inside something solid.

Being able to heal any and all wounds or illnesses by either walking over a medkit or using one that's in your "inventory". It'd be a lot cheaper than going to the doctor. :P

I'd have it so my life was an adventure game. I'd always be walking around looking for a rope so I could climb the wall and get the golden whalebone so i can trade it to the prostitute for an apple that i could feed the donkey so it could rampage and kick over a bucket, revealing a leather glove, etc, etc.

Here's some of my personal picks. Some have been done, some have not.

* Fighting Game Power!! Hadoken, Power Wave, RED Kick, and all the rest - using a Kyo Kusanagi special to roast a cop alive. ("This is...THE END OF THE ROAD!!")
* 10-foot jumping without falling damage. It's possible in Metroid, so why not in real life? ("Yahoo!")

* In the vein of Japanese interactive fiction - multiple choice answers when anybody asks me a question. This is so I don't utter something completely stupid. ("That dog just pooped.")

* A tactical AI like Cortana from Halo. ("Don't get any funny ideas.")
* God mode, notarget, freeze mode, and pretty much every other cheat that ZDoom has. ("Power-up added.")
* Optical implants, so not only do I have my own crosshair, but I can also zoom in on long-range targets without having to use any form of sniper scope or iron sights. ("Where's the fun in that? I just hope there's enough [targets] to keep me busy!")
* An indestructible car, just like Need for Speed 3. ("Meet me in the Strong Bad Cave!")
* The ability to use just about ANYTHING regardless of my previous training with it. Just hop into a plane an poof, you're pulling U-turns like Maverick! ("Smile for the birdie! Geez, I crack myself up.")
* Wearing any kind of armor makes it fit perfectly to my body. ("It's...difficult to say...")

Other than that, my life is a game already.
