Sharessa Posted January 20, 2004 Test your knowledge of the American presidency here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/3403467.stm My Score: You got 9 right! Well done! A presidential performance. ;) The only one I missed was the apporval ratings one. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tobester Posted January 20, 2004 I got 4. But I missed 2 cause I accidently clicked the wrong button. 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted January 20, 2004 Don't forget that this is really a quiz aimed at British people, for whom the electoral process in the USA is as unfathomable as the rules of cricket must seem to Americans. :) Anyway, I got 6, but quite a few were lucky guesses. 0 Share this post Link to post

There are still parts of Life, The Universe, and Everything that I'm completely confused on due to cricket terminology. :P 0 Share this post Link to post
Kid Airbag Posted January 20, 2004 8 right. I got the approval rating one wrong, I thought it was Jimmy Carter. I also missed the one about the perks because when I learned about this stuff in 9th grade civics, our book said the salary was around $250,000. It was a pretty recent book, too o_O Had a brainflash on the impeachment question. Yeah, that one's kind of a trick question, especially for foreigners. Impeachment is only to indict a president, not to remove him from office. Clinton and Johnson were both impeached, but were not removed from office. Nixon actually resigned before he could be impeached, but he was the only one to have left office of the three. 0 Share this post Link to post

Epyo Posted January 20, 2004 1 right, but I kinda zoned out and clicked 25 for no reason whatsoever on question 2. 0 Share this post Link to post
