Regular Door Open

I noticed the in Doom 2, doors open by bottom on up, I would like to now if it is possible to have them opening like doors in regular day life, A.K.A. they spin.

Yes, polyobjects. First used in Hexen, but now the source port ZDoom uses them, and many maps designed for ZDoom use them. Now for the obvious question: what ZDoom maps use polyobjects? Well, I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I'm sure someone else will come up with some.

You can simulate swinging doors in regular old vanilla Doom2. I have used them, and seen them used in a number of maps and megawads.

They aren't all that hard and look good.
I used them in BndAlyR.wad, and remember them being used in Requiem.wad among others.

In Daedalus's case I'm inclined to say 'excessively'. I have never seen so many polyobjects as here. ;-)

(Just kidding, of course :-P)

Of course I meant extensively. Sorry, this stuff can happen if English is not your first language...

Trust me, it (and worse) can happen when it is one's first language too! I'm embarrassed at how few (non-programming) languages I speak at all, much less fluently.
