myk Posted February 7, 2004 You can play episodes 2 and 3 only if you have the registered or commercial game. You have to buy it. As for add-on wads, they only work with the full game as well. Most of them work in the full game as well. Actually, most of the WADs are for DOOM2. There are some WADs that work with shareware DOOM, but naturally they will be boring, cause they can only use 6 types of monsters (Zombieman, Shotgun Guy, Imp, Demon, Spectre, Baron) and can't use Plasma/BFG/SSG.
