Tolwyn Posted February 8, 2004 It's currently in /newstuff, but it's my first release in over 7 years. If I had DB when I was doing Insertion with the rest of the Insertion team, man oh man. Nothing too fancy. Just getting to learn Doom Builder. But I'm pretty happy with it. Hopefully it will be in this week's /Newstuff Chronicles. 0 Share this post Link to post
SyntherAugustus Posted February 8, 2004 I tried playing it. There was a severe lack of ammo. Otherwise it was okay. :) 0 Share this post Link to post
Tolwyn Posted February 8, 2004 What skill did you play it on? Also, just because you see monsters in the beginning, doesn't mean you should take them out at first. :) The stats text file indicates difficulty, so you do have to use your ammo wisely. 0 Share this post Link to post

Nice level but: What are those 2 sectors with an special 5001? 0 Share this post Link to post
Tolwyn Posted February 8, 2004 Ooops! Nice catch. Did it crash anything? I was testing some XG lines and sector tags in JDoom, and to be perfectly honest -- I screwed up and forgot about them. I wanted to remove them. Uh. Crap. I'll remove them now and re-submit. Shit. 0 Share this post Link to post

Most ports either completely ignore invalid sector types or treat them as Boom extended types. I was just curious what it meant. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tolwyn Posted February 8, 2004 I appreciate that catch, though. I had JDoom scroll the sector flat from N to S and then attributed wind for the current. I was just farting around, and forgot about it. 0 Share this post Link to post
