PSX Hellsky use

I have the console Doom wad and I'd like to use the flaming hellsky with Doom2 wads...however, it uses multiple frames of animation. So how would I get this to work in a Doom2 wad?

I'd guess you'd use ZDoom, I know I've seen a multiple frame sky before in a ZDoom level, just can't remember where.

well, depending on what port you use:

to use the fire sky in zdoom, simply define the animated fire texture in animdefs and in the mapinfo lump, set the first frame as the sky.

hmm, how would i enter that information into the mapinfo lump? i mean, how would i write it in txt if the name of the textures was, for example, skyf_1?

Since you're using ZDoom you can also use a skybox. Look at the ZDoom page on how to do it.

this is what my mapinfo lump says

sky1 SKY1 5

and when i load it up i get a ZDoom fatal error message. it says MAPINFO line 1 bad syntax.
