Little Faith Posted February 29, 2004 Pwads are not installed or anything. What you do is simply type (in a dos prompt or use a .bat file): Doom2 -file marswar.wad 0 Share this post Link to post

Grazza Posted February 29, 2004 If you're using a command line (recommended) to launch Doom, then you just need to add "-file marswar.wad" to it. If, for the sake of argument, you are using Legacy as your source port, all the relevent files are in c:\doom2 and you are using Windows 95/98/2k/XP, then click on "Start", and then "Run...". Type in... c:\doom2\legacy -file marswar.wad ...and it should start. If you're using a different port (or the original exe), then replace "legacy" with its name (e.g. doom2, prboom, zdoom, eternity, etc.). 0 Share this post Link to post

lupinx_resurrected Posted March 16, 2004 I would like to recomend that you download and use zdoom. http://zdoom.org/download.html It is much smoother and easier to use, complete with many options and display mode settings. 0 Share this post Link to post
