Legacy support issues

Im having a rough time trying to get my weapon modification compadible with Legacy. How well can legacy support bex files? if it can, to what degree? and lastly, it appears that in legacy, the rockets and flamethrower shots stay stationary, they just dont move, even after i fix all the values. What's going on?

Legacy only supports Dehacked (.deh) files, not their .bex extensions. So no codepointer freedom and nice string replacements.

Bex support is in the C++ version though, thankfully. Not that this helps you at all, whoever started this thread.
