Most of these effects are probably already present in Far Cry, but it's nice to read some background info.

The first shot with the spiders seemed to be an improvement. The rest of the slideshow seemed to be a bunch of ugly stuff with no sense of any improvement.

It's about time we've seen water refraction in a realtime FPS. I'd figured that would hold precedence over pushing 3000 polys per model.
