Doom 64 - Worth the purchase?

The first DOOM I played was the SNES version the second was DOOM 64 based on its story I asumed it was a port of DOOM 2 (I had never seen DOOM 2) One day a few years later (99 I believe)I saw DOOM 2 in the store and figured I'd get it since I lost the Cart in a move. I was suprised to find out how diffrent it was. I went playing through it not expecting that there were more enemys then 64... First time I met a revenant I was like WTF IS THAT!!!
