New DOOM LEGACY BETA...phat or whack?

I for one like the new legacy beta...especially the two player mode cause my friends dont have DOOM.what do you guys think...is it phat or whack?

That being said, Legacy is pretty cool ... although I still prefer to play using ZDoom.

i use legacy the most but as far as features go i use zdoom, it features zdoom kicks ass and is better than any other engin. but i have had little luck with its opengl feature, mainly slowdown and freezeing, even with a gforce2 card.

Splitscreen kicks ass. It's not better than a regular lan but it's sure as hell not crap. How many here have really plaed a DM / Coop with Splitscreen? To starters try using two mouses.

Yeah, all it took was to get it to timedemo 530fps at 640x480x16 on my new box in udoom demo1 and timedemo 66fps through half of vrack2, and I'm all thumbs-up.

That 66 fps is 1024x768x32 with "-ds3d" on, by the way.
