I often forget the names of textures and such. One combination I like is flat19 + sp_hot1 + something..
better if I use a picture This combination

I also like the combination I am using in a new map.
fwater1 + wfall1-4 + grass2 +brownhug + ceil4_2 (I think) + ashwall2 or 3

TEKGRN textures look really good with that light thingy on the exitdoor texture, and any of the rusted metal textures. As for the floors, anything gray = :)

For some reason, using support2, flat23 ect textures with the rusted metal/metal2 textures looks tacky as hell to me.

If there's one thing I can't stand it's a Hell/Gothic map that uses support2 instead of support3, it's just so out place looking.

I never use support2. Support3 is one of my fav textures.
One of my fav combinations is also BSTONE2 and RROCK12.

I like Plutonia a lot. :)

But back on topic, I usually prefer STARTAN1/STARGR1+FLOOR0_2/FLOOR0_3. But this is just me...

for me it depends on the theme I want to give the map. e.g.-for a starbase theme I like BROWN1, BROWN96, BROWNGRN, FLAT1, F_SKY1, CEIL5_1, CEIL5_2, SUPPORT2. For a computer theme I like SHAWN2, SILVER1, FLAT22, FLAT23, all the blue and gray colored flats, and all the computer textures like COMPBLUE and COMPSTA1. As for SUPPORT2 and 3, I usually only use SUPPORT2 on things like small lifts and the edges of lifts in a starbase theme. Othere wise, it is support3.
