Posted May 14, 2004 im looking more special tag numbers to use in wy new wads i already know: tag 666 in combination with a mancubus lowers sectors. tag 667 in combination with a arachnotron raises a sector by 16. tag 666 in combination with a keen opens doors. are there other special tag numbers that creates a special effect? or are these all of them. 0 Share this post Link to post
Cyb Posted May 14, 2004 666 and 667 (pertaining to mancubi and trons) only works on map07 as well (keen works on any map)... tag666 will also do the lower floor thing on maps E1M8 when all barons die, E2M8 will exit the map when all cyberdemons die, and E3M8 and E4M8 when all spider masterminds die 0 Share this post Link to post

Grazza Posted May 14, 2004 E2M8 will exit the map when all cyberdemons die, and E3M8 and E4M8 when all spider masterminds die E4M8 doesn't exit when all masterminds die; sectors with tag 666 lower. And on E1M8 etc., to be exact, it's actually the floor which lowers. Before Ultimate Doom, the floor also was lowered in E1M8 when all cyberdemons are dead, which was removed, since not used in the original map, but at least UACDEAD.WAD relies on this. Using ZDoom, you can set them in MAPINFO and use them on any map, though much more can be done with scripting. 0 Share this post Link to post
