If you freeze-frame the DVD, Mr. White clearly gets off two shots. However, there are flaws with that scene (such as a couple of actors falling too early). Tarantino says they didn't do it right but didn't have the time to redo it. But there are two rotten theories which are DEAD and absolutely 100% verifiably WRONG: The Mr. Pink theory and the Mr. Orange theory. 0 Share this post Link to post
Oh No Its Kyle Posted June 7, 2004 I remember reading somewhere that the death of Eddie is debated as much as the contents of Marsellus Wallace's briefcase among Tarrantino fans. It's an unsolved mystery. As for movie endings I love the ending to Rejected. The cartoon world falling apart after Don snaps is insane and left an impact. 0 Share this post Link to post
doomedout Posted June 7, 2004 I can't believe other people (me inclusive) had enough time to pick up that inherent flaw in the shootout scene. 0 Share this post Link to post

Mordeth Posted June 8, 2004 Ralphis said: I like the ending to ED3 better. Not the crappy one they cut either. I know Evil Dead 3 has been made with two different endings. In one cut Ash is sealed inside his car in a cave but slept too long and wakes up in a post-apocalyptic world. That ending, frankly, is pretty lame. The other version involves Ash having to say a few magic words which will transport him back to his time. The scene cuts back to present day, with Ash helping a girl in the S-Mart shopping mall. He's boasting his story to her ("yeah baby, I could have been a king!"), then she asks if he really did say the words to return home exactly as intended... Sounds familiar, right? :) "Of course!, Well, almost." Naturally, a flying Deadite suddenly appears and attacks. Ash grabs a shotgun and blasts it away... "I'm Ash, hardware department" and kisses the girl. The End. 0 Share this post Link to post

Oh No Its Kyle Posted June 8, 2004 Being the stickler I am for Evil Dead movies, I'm kinda offended you totally botched the ending to Army Of Darkness, especially who Ash was talking to and his last lines. He was talking to a a guy and he asked if he said the words correctly. The guy then walked away and Ash started doing the prices on some items when a girl asked if the story was really true. Then they get a attacked by a deadite. He shoots the deadite and says "I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave the store." "Who the hell are you?!" "Names Ash. Housewares." Then they fight. He, of course kills her, the girl he was talking to eariler hugs him and he starts talking about how he could have been king, but in his own way he is king. His last line is "Hail to the king, baby." 0 Share this post Link to post
Grimm Posted June 8, 2004 I never saw Army of Darkness. I did see the first two, though. They didn't really impress me all to much. 0 Share this post Link to post

toxicfluff Posted June 9, 2004 pregnant with worms said:Funny GamesGood choice. I'm just surprised to have encountered someone else who has seen it. The scene before last in Doom Generation is one of the most horrific things I've seen (or kind of half seen, as the case may be) in a film. The irony of it was very pleasing to me, as well. 0 Share this post Link to post
Vile Posted June 9, 2004 Star Wars: maybe my least favorite of the original trilogy, but the ending was spectacular. The Sixth Sense: I also like surprises. 0 Share this post Link to post

m0l0t0v Posted June 9, 2004 How about 2001: A Space Odyssey! That ending is pretty damn... er... something! I agree with scientist on Planet of the Apes. The ending is shocking and sheds new light on the whole movie. Nowadays everybody already knows how it ends, so it doesn't have as much impact as it once did. The final scene is even depicted on the DVD box for crying out loud! What a spoiler! Soylent Green, suffers from the same problem. The only thing cool about the movie is the ending and everybody already knows how it ends :-( 0 Share this post Link to post

Grimm Posted June 11, 2004 Yeah, it was kinda neat that they let eveeyone die like that. Doesn't make up for the overall shittiness of the film though. 0 Share this post Link to post

chilvence Posted June 11, 2004 About Schmidt had a good ending. How many endings can leave you questioning the point of everything in the movie, without finding the movie itself pointless :) 0 Share this post Link to post
