jute Posted June 17, 2004 not only do death metal gods morbid angel thank id software in all their liner notes, they also have a quake 3 clan and make huge zdoom maps in their spare time: http://linkremoved.com and they also have the coolest guitar EVER: http://suddendeathovertime.com/pics/morbid4.jpg 0 Share this post Link to post
Stealthy Ivan Posted June 17, 2004 This is awsome!!! Good find! I downloaded this and it looks really cool, plus its by one of my favorite bands! 0 Share this post Link to post
Little Faith Posted June 17, 2004 I think the distribution file is, ahem, a bit dodgy. But besides: A maxkill would probably be pure torture. Even for the demo-recording elite, but I think a speedrun could be rather neat. At first glance it just looks like a moronic 1994 monster-fest, but the different parts have subtle details that prove some thought has went into creating it. What I dislike about the level (besides the horrible texturing) is the unintuitive level progression. It is often not clear what is doors or teleports or where you are supposed to go. This can work for more slow-paced levels, but when you are constantly running for your life it doesn't work out. Yeah, and he seems to have a fetish for Arachnotrons. This level is shock-full of them. 0 Share this post Link to post

Ichor Posted June 17, 2004 ...peeks in this thread, then downloads the zip file... It sure enough does contain doom.wad, so I'm going to have to remove that link. 0 Share this post Link to post
fodders Posted June 17, 2004 Yeh Trey Azagthoth used to play Doom all the time on Doomserv, damn nice guy. I even got a mention on one of their cd covers a while back, me and a few other Doomers. 0 Share this post Link to post

Dittohead Posted June 18, 2004 That's fucking sweet. I always wanted to do something like that in my fictional fairy tale land where I become a rockstar in the death metal genre. 0 Share this post Link to post
SunlapseVertigo Posted June 18, 2004 MA flat out rules, my favorite band aside from Neurosis. I think its awesome how Trey is such a Doom/Quake fan. 0 Share this post Link to post

Oh No Its Kyle Posted June 18, 2004 That's not unusal. Dis is named after the damned city of Dis in the seventh or eighth layer of hell in Dante's Inferno. 0 Share this post Link to post
ducon Posted June 18, 2004 Yes but Trey's wad is called "Chambers of dis". That is unusual. 0 Share this post Link to post
