forum rules (about bumping old threads)

Recommended Posts

Umm, isn't it better to bump threads, than to make a new thread on the same subject every other week? What's the point on having hundreds of same threads?
Don't bump old threads, make new ones? Now that's just stupid. It's the other way around usually, on most forums anyway...

But they are old, so nobody sees them anyway, so who gives a fuck? Why do you want to bump an old-ass 6 month old thread that's stale as fuck when you could start a new one and maybe even offer a new view or whatever.

Resurrecting old topics by posting in old threads = bad
Resurrecting old topics by creating new threads = bad

Sorry, nothing can be done to change this law. Just cope.

They could hack it in, but it'd be a waste of time.

Yet you still post in them anyways.

How can we talk abou the topic then if we can't start a new thread about it?

I thought that after a long time threads automatically close themselves? Correct me if I'm wrong though. Is anyone sure of such information? :D
