Bashe Posted June 29, 2004 Could someone send it to me? I'm missing it. My email is Locke9013@aol.com. 0 Share this post Link to post
DEMOn Posted June 29, 2004 http://www.doomworld.com/vb/search.php?s= search for 'vxd' several download options come back. I seem to recall it is at Myk's quality site too. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bashe Posted June 30, 2004 No, I did a search and all I got was dmouse.vxd for Doom95 which I don't need. Myk's site doesn't have it. NOTHING HAS IT!!! Still, who wants to send it to me? 0 Share this post Link to post
DEMOn Posted June 30, 2004 1000 apologies. I need to learn how to read. sorry about that. from what I see, it is in your win98 cabs... if you have win98/ME. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bashe Posted June 30, 2004 Well, I got the vmouse.vxd and put it in the right places but the PS2 mouse won't work. I'm pretty the PS2 mouse stopped working because of vmouse.vxd. It's not the mouse, something else is missing... 0 Share this post Link to post
Sephiroth Posted June 30, 2004 there used to be a site for dll's and common VXD files like that. however that was 4 years ago, and i forget. check your cabs 0 Share this post Link to post
Bashe Posted June 30, 2004 I already have the vmouse.vxd. Why else wouldn't my PS2 mouse work? It's plugged in firmly. I put the .vxd in all the right places. 0 Share this post Link to post
Opulent Posted June 30, 2004 what OS do you have. NT-architechure doesn't use virtual device drivers, IIRC. get a ps/2->USB converter perhaps. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bashe Posted June 30, 2004 Okay, I'm on Windoze 98. As we speak, I'm on a USB mouse. It WOULD be okay, but I only have one USB port on my laptop so I can't really use anything else besides the mouse. I have a USB-PS2 coverter but it doesn't work either. I'm missing something I think. 0 Share this post Link to post
Opulent Posted June 30, 2004 remove the device and re-install it. what does it say in the device manager or the mouse setup? 0 Share this post Link to post
Bashe Posted June 30, 2004 It says it works properly but it doesn't. In "Driver Details" nothing is wrong or missing. 0 Share this post Link to post
myk Posted June 30, 2004 I tried installing an IBM PS2 mouse on this machine... it didn't respond. I dumped it and got another (serial) mouse. 0 Share this post Link to post
