doom 64 for pc

i need help from anyone who has played doom 64 for pc, i cannot get the platform to lower which holds the first laser upgrade in the secret level "the void" if anyone can help me i would be much appriciative. thanks

Getting the key has been changed in the TC version, once you are about to exit, look to the right and shoot a switch on the pillar, this will open a secret switch by the red key. Approach the switch, but don't hit it yet, instead, return to the laser key, now lowered and ready for grabs.

wow thanks deathman! helps alot! do you think you could tell me about the other two laser upgades if it isnt too much trouble? I find it difficult to find secret levels in this game. I would greatly appriciate it.
