Lows: Some stabs at humor fall a bit flat.

Bottom Line: Just as we'd hoped, it's a non-stop ride of tension, carnage and terror. A new classic.

actually im quite comfortable with a score of 94, and besides for the "low" parts it didnt really mention any critical aspects of the game ( who the heck needs comical relief in a space horror :)

Yea, kinda disappointing to me.

Think, it is has been in production for an extremely long time, and with the help of John Carmack as one of the programming gods, I honestly expected it to get 96% or possibly higher.

Either way - this game is going to kick ass.

Anyone wanna bet the game was so perfect that they had to come up with that "LOWS" part of the overall rating?

That's if you blast through it without looking at the surroundings and searching around, they went through it on pussy difficulty, fast as they could, just so they could get a review.

Yea, that is true :(

That means if you spend one full day playing it, you will complete the game.

One thing that I dread about this is the fact that there will be dumbfucks all over the place doing "spoiler-runs" where they tell every thing in the game.

The first persont that does that will be seeing a hitman at his/her doorstep the very next day...

Nice one, better get a new pc then, i recon this review is possibily true since the doom 3 box on amazon has a qoute from PC Gamer "masterpiece of the art" so i think it's possible its been reviewed. Damn why do us brits have to wait till the 13th of Aug...(if that IS the true date!) :(

94% means it'll be very good to fans with no previous experience. Judging by how we (the fans who've stuck with the series) will experience it, it's safe to add another 5-6 points! But that's just IMO.
