Recording capabilities

Apparently the engine has the ability to record your gameplay, as in a demo, and svae it directly to a .avi movie file, which is pretty neat.

That's cool. I heard UT2004 can turn its demos into divx, but I never confirmed it myself.

But yeah -- very cool. :)

The windows version of UT2004 can convert them to divx format. Slow though, and isn't that great.

Wow. If it can save recorded demos as an avi, that's awesome.

I doubt it can actually record them as AVI. A conversion will have to take place, I'm guessing.
