astump Posted August 2, 2004 Idea - make a classic horror movie atmosphere, with girls and monsters. Sort of like the atmosphere in Scream, or in any given B-movie. 0 Share this post Link to post
astump Posted August 2, 2004 What? Never heard of girls? Dont you remember old B-movies like in the early 80s / late 70s man? 0 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted August 2, 2004 heh, I wonder how long it will be before someone makes a porno mod for Doom3. It'll be like 1994/5 all over again. 0 Share this post Link to post
Janderson Posted August 2, 2004 How about a sitcom mod where all the enemies chant their catch phrases, your only weapon is a flashlight and every time you kill the crowd laughs, or applauds when you kill a boss. 0 Share this post Link to post

Oh, how the mongly had fallen so long ago, and they rise to haunt us yet again with their ass-backwards Doom3 mods. 0 Share this post Link to post

Scream is NOT classic horror it's a shitty teeny bopper movie I would recommand mods from movies like Evil Dead Dawn of the Dead (the original) John Carpenters The Thing Night of the Living Dead Hellraiser The Mouth of Madness Majority of Italian Horror films (films made by Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento, Mario Bava) If you want a total B movie atmisphere try watching Manos Hands of Fate (the worst movie ever made) 0 Share this post Link to post
A655321 Posted August 3, 2004 Surviving a Deadite onslaught in the cabin of Evil Dead 2 before venturing out into a small nearby town looking for gas and engine parts for your car so you can escape the forest would be fun, but I'm just speculating. [EDIT] And a zombie game wouldn't work, since Doom3 cant handle huge waves of zombies (to be expected in any zombie game) 0 Share this post Link to post

Lord FlatHead Posted August 3, 2004 How bout a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory mod ? I'm sure the Doom 3 engine can handle high-fidelity chocolate surface deformation as well as at least a dozen simultaneous Oompa-Loompas on screen. Mmm. 0 Share this post Link to post
