SyntherAugustus Posted August 3, 2004 Q-Why is Doom 3 saying that it won't run unless I have 'emulators' and 'cd-burners' on? A-Recent games, like Farcry, Painkiller, and now Doom 3, are using anti-cdcopy programs like SafeDisc. The idea is that SafeDisc makes sure that all CD-Burners and Emulators must be turned off when playing a game that it's associated with. I know it's a hassle, just do it, okay? If it's still mumbling about it, reboot your computer, load up the Task Manager via ctrl-alt-del, and remove and known processes related to cd-burning and emulation (nero.exe, daemon.exe, etc). 0 Share this post Link to post
Arioch Posted August 3, 2004 My alcohol 120% emulated drive is fine and doesn't affect Doom 3 at all. So hah. 0 Share this post Link to post
