benj Posted August 3, 2004 ...can be found at http://www.omegadrivers.net After installation, my radeon 9600se was able to handle 800x600 at high detail at 40-60 frames a second. If you're not satisfied with your current performance, these are definitely worth a look. Thanks to macvilewhore for the link. 0 Share this post Link to post

benj Posted August 4, 2004 edit the cfg file in /base so that "com_drawfps" is 1 0 Share this post Link to post
Spore Posted August 4, 2004 I think it is "show" not "draw" I am getting between 38 - 68 roughly. No slowdowns. I am using 61.77 - GF5900. 0 Share this post Link to post
AirRaid Posted August 4, 2004 "com_showfps 1" Oh and you can get the console by pressing Ctrl + Alt + ~. Alternatively you can add the line seta com_alowconsole "1" to Doom3\Base\DoomConfig.cfg. Then you can just use the ~ key. And I still want to see how people are getting over 60fps when the game has a hard cap at 60... (except in timedemos) 0 Share this post Link to post
Deathmatcher Posted August 4, 2004 Has someone tried the catalyst 4.9 Beta drivers yet? 0 Share this post Link to post
Kaiser Posted August 4, 2004 I tried 4.9 beta. on my 2100+ Althlon w/ Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb, I get anywhere from 8fps to 40 fps, depending. I think I got it on 1024x768 on medium quality. 0 Share this post Link to post
