Gameranking's front page:
On 8/3 the PC received a new game from Activision titled Doom 3. Since then 13 sites and magazines have reviewed it including Inside Gamer Online, XGP Gaming, Gamers Depot and Telefragged. Together their reviews have resulted in an average ratio of 93.1%. That ratio has resulted in this title becoming the 26th best game of all time and the 5th best game on the PC.

For those of you that don't know, GameRankings automatically goes around websites and finds all the ratings it can find for a game. Then it looks at just the main trusted review sites, and averages them.

You decide. To me reviews don't mean squat. I play what I like and over half the games that scored higher I wouldn't have even given the time of day when it was released.

Heh End where'd you get that from? Go here make the minimum reviews 10, and limit results to 100. Today we're pushed back to 70th, but we only have 17 reviews while most of the games have 30 or even 100, so the rank is bound to change.

And of course zelda's ocaraina of time tops the list, I hate that game :)

A FISHING game got a 98%? What in the hell...? You have to be kidding me here.
The only three games on that list (other than Doom3 of course :P) I'd be willing to play would be Thief Gold, Quake, and Half Life.
