Caverns: Transfer Lift - Please, please help...

Hey, I'm stuck in this part. I'm supposed to move the cargo lift somewhere between what seems to be three parts of a portal or something. I've been searching for a thread on this, but there aren't any.
Anyway, what do I have to do?

Try getting on top of the crane to get a better view, there is a ladder. You're basically going to jump off the tip of the crane when you get it into position. The screenshot helped.

position the crane load so that its between the crane superstructure and the opposite end (or closer towards the opposite end if need be). then jump onto the suspended load, and jump onto the other side. i couldnt seem to do it without being damaged from the drop so be careful.
